Sky surges to beat the Sun

Epiphanny Prince scored a game-high 20 points, along with six assists and four rebounds, as the Chicago Sky surged in the second half to beat the Connecticut Sun, 82-66.

Allie Quigley and Elena Delle Donne added 17 and 15 points off the bench, respectively. Sylvia Fowles scored 12 points and grabbed as many rebounds for the Sky, who have won three straight games and five of their last seven.

Alyssa Thomas led the Sun with 15 points, but they lost for the sixth time in seven games. Kelsey Bone added 14 points in defeat.

The game stayed close through the first two quarters and Connecticut went into the break ahead 41-36. With 1:39 left in the third quarter Prince completed a 3-point play to tie the game at 51. That started a string of 15 straight points by the Sky.

The run stretched into the fourth. Delle Donne opened the final frame with a 3-pointer and a bank shot to stretch the lead to 12. A jump shot by Kelsey Griffin brought the Sun within 10 with 4:43 to go, but the Sky went up by as much as 18 in the closing minute.
