Cristiano Ronaldo shows off new 769 horsepower Ferrari

Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo debuted his new Ferrari on Instagram Wednesday.

Ronaldo made a post to the social media platform, featuring the dark red luxury sports car.

"Arrived," he wrote in the caption. The photo had nearly four million likes on Wednesday afternoon.

The Ferrari F12tdf costs more than $500,000. Ronaldo also owns several other pricey rides, including a Bugatti Chiron, which has a base price of about $2.9 million, according to Car and Driver magazine.

Ronaldo's newest garage addition travels from 0 to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds. The V12 engine has a 769 maximum horsepower and can travel faster than 211 mph, according to the Ferrari website. It can travel from 0 to 124 mph in 396 feet.

The 32-year-old Portuguese sensation has five goals and two assists in six games this year for Real Madrid and Portugal. He was suspended from Spanish league play in August after pushing a referee during Real Madrid's 3-1 win against Barcelona.

Ronaldo can return to La Liga action on Sept. 20 when Real Madrid faces Real Betis.

Forbes named Ronaldo the highest-paid athlete in the world this year. He is due $93 million in 2017, with $58 million in salary and $35 million in endorsements. Ronaldo's girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, is currently pregnant with his fourth child.
