May 29 (UPI) -- A man rode on a drone before landing and handing the referee the match ball at the Portugese Cup final.
Benfica beat Vitoria SC 2-1 Sunday at Estadio Nacional in Cruz Quebrada-Dafundo.
Before the contest, a man boarded the spider-esque flying device on the sideline. He hovered more than 200 feet above the soccer field, before coasting to midfield. He extended his left arm and handed the ball to a referee.
The Marvel-villain-like sequence ended with the man flying away.
Benfica now has 11 league and cup double championships.
Flying hoverboards and jet packs can be had from $9,000 to more than $20,000.
