After an opening finish by Munir El Haddadi put Barcelona up 26 minutes into the match, Suárez struck.

Suárez received a lob pass from Messi, over the defense, from about 35 yards out. He corralled the pass down on the right side of the box, before faking a shot. That move put his defender on skates, enabling him to nutmeg the opponent. The next defender dove strongly into Suárez, but somehow the forward was able to slap the ball into the opposition's legs and back to himself. He finished his arsenal of moves with a flick into the net with his right foot.

Munir El Haddadi scored again at 45 minutes, before Ahmed Musa added two scores for Leicester City. Rafa Mujica's score in the 84th minute made the score final at 4-2.
