Columbus Blue Jackets captain Nick Foligno out for Game 5 against Pittsburgh Penguins

PITTSBURGH -- The Columbus Blue Jackets, hoping to avoid elimination from the playoffs, will be without captain Nick Foligno on Thursday for Game 5 against the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena.

The veteran left winger, who had played the first four games of the first-round Eastern Conference series, has a lower-body injury, according to the club.

Foligno had two points, both assists, in the first four games of the series.

Columbus trails in the series 3-1.
