Feb. 21 (UPI) -- No, those aren't green and white candy canes.

The Toronto Maple Leafs will sport the colors on striped sweaters for its March 18 contest to honor the teams from 1919 to 1927. The Maple Leafs are facing the Chicago Blackhawks during that contest at the Air Canada Centre.

Before being named the Maple Leafs, the franchise was known as the St. Pats. The name came from the Toronto St. Patrick's Ontario Hockey Association team. The St. Pats won the 1921-1922 Stanley Cup. Owner Conn Smythre renamed the team the Maple Leafs in 1927.

Leafs legends Hap Day, Babe Dye, and Jack Adams also sported the shirts.

The Reebok jerseys are available for $219.99.

The Leafs [27-20-11] are currently fifth in the Atlantic Division. Toronto hosts the Winnipeg Jets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Air Canada Centre.
