BALTIMORE, April 12 (UPI) -- After sitting out last season, Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta is talking comeback.

Pitta, 30, has agreed to restructure his contract, according to ESPN. He missed last season while recovering from a fractured and dislocated hip.

"When Dennis has an announcement to make, he'll make it," the Ravens said in a statement.

"Obviously, we wanted to see no issues at all," Pitta told the Ravens in November. "There were things both on and off the field that weren't feeling right, and were certainly feeling different from the first time around. I have a little experience with this injury, so I know how it should have felt and needed to feel."

Pitta is expected to participate in the offseason program next week.

Pitta signed a five-year, $32.5 million deal in 2014. The deal contains $16 million guaranteed. He was set to make $5 million this season and becomes a free agent in 2019.

According to Baltimore Sun Ravens beat writer Jeff Zrebiec, Pitta and the Ravens agreed to restructure the deal and the signing could happen "as early as today."

Pitta has 138 receptions, for 1,369 yards and 11 touchdowns in 50 career games for the Ravens.
