May 19 (UPI) -- Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrance Williams was arrested Saturday morning for public intoxication.

The Frisco Police Department responded to a crash at about 4:45 a.m. in Frisco, Texas, finding a blue 2017 Lamborghini which left the road and hit a light pole. Police said the driver left the scene, but later determined the vehicle was registered to Williams.

The officers found Williams riding an electric bike near his home, according to a release from the Frisco Police Department. He was arrested for the Class C Misdemeanor. Williams was released on Saturday morning from the Frisco jail on $369 bond.

The offense of duty on striking a structure, fixture or highway landscaping for the driver of the vehicle fleeing the scene is still under investigation and no charges for that offense have been filed.

Williams, 28, is entering his sixth season with the Cowboys. The third round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft had a career-high 53 receptions last season for 568 yards, but failed to score a touchdown. The Baylor and Warren Travis White High School product was born in Dallas. Williams signed a four-year, $17 million contract with the Cowboys in 2017. He is due $3.5 million this season.
