Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Serena Williams posted a new photo of baby Olympia Ohanian on Instagram, joking that she too will be a force on the women's tennis circuit.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion made the post Thursday on social media. It had nearly 500,000 likes on Instagram and more than 3,000 likes on Twitter as of Friday afternoon.

The photo features baby Alexis wearing a little, red dog-print skirt and holding a miniature Wilson tennis racket.

"Olympia Ohanian, at match point, championship point, even without her shoes she's hard to beat," Williams wrote on the caption. "Serving now For her 12th Wimbledon title. 3 more than her mum Serena. @wilsontennis @olympiaohanian."

Williams, 36, became a first-time mother on Sept. 1. She is married to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.

As Williams noted, she is a seven-time singles champion at Wimbledon. She has six Grand Slam titles at the U.S. Open, seven at the Australian Open and three at the French Open.

Williams was set to make a comeback at the 2018 Australian Open in January, but she pulled out of the tournament at the last minute. She lost her first match back since having Alexis on Dec. 30, dropping an exhibition contest in three sets to Latvian Jelena Ostanpenko in Abu Dhabi.

She said after that match that she was "super close," but not where she personally wants to be.

Williams has no official WTA ranking.
