Minnesota Vikings leading receiver Adam Thielen returned to practice Thursday after sitting out the previous day.

Thielen missed Wednesday's practice due to a lower-back injury, but was participating in drills Thursday during the portion of practice open to the media.

Safety Andrew Sendejo (concussion) also participated in individual drills for the second straight day.

Thielen started all 16 regular-season games and caught 91 passes for 1,276 yards and four touchdowns. He had six receptions for 74 yards in Sunday's 29-24 victory over the New Orleans Saints.

Sendejo remains in the league's concussion protocol, although Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer has said he will be "fine."

The 30-year-old Sendejo was hurt in the third quarter of Sunday's victory on a hit by Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas. He notched 80 tackles and two interceptions during the regular season and had another pick against New Orleans.

Nose tackle Shamar Stephen was the only Minnesota player not to practice Thursday. Stephen is dealing with back and ankle injuries.
