Oct. 3 (UPI) -- Wide receiver Davante Adams is expected to suit up for the Green Bay Packers Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. A source told ESPN that they "think he goes" in the 4:25 p.m. contest at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
A source told the Green Bay Press Gazette that they "can't see him not playing."
Adams was carted off of the field during Thursday Night Football after taking a hit from Chicago Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan late in the third quarter of the Packers' 35-14 win at Lambeau Field. He was evaluated for a concussion and a neck injury and spent the night in a Wisconsin hospital. He was conscious and had movement in all of his extremities.
Trevethan received a penalty on the play and was later suspended for two games by the NFL.

Adams received a clean MRI result after the hit, according to NFL Network. The NFL office told USA Today that "all signs [were] good from doctors," relating to Adams' health. Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Friday that Adams was in the concussion protocol.
On Friday, Adams tweeted that he was "at home feeling great."

Adams also suffered a concussion last year in October after taking a hit against the Cowboys. He was able to come back the next week and play after that injury, despite having a short week as the Packers had a Thursday Night Football matchup against the Bears.
The fifth-year wide receiver has 219 yards and two scores on 16 catches this season.
