Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones is not expected to miss any playing time after sustaining a hip flexor injury, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Monday, citing a source.

Fellow wideout Mohamed Sanu is not as fortunate as he is expected to be sidelined two to three weeks with a hamstring injury, according to multiple reports.

Jones and Sanu sustained their respective injuries during Sunday's 23-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Atlanta (3-1) welcomes a bye this week before returning to action on Oct. 15 against the visiting Miami Dolphins.

Falcons coach Dan Quinn talked of Jones' recuperative powers during Monday's press conference, but did not reveal how long that he expected the star wideout would be sidelined.

"For those of you guys who have covered the team for a long time, you would know that Julio Jones is a faster healer than the average cat," Quinn said. "It's just how he's built. He's a special player, competitor, athlete. What may take someone four (weeks) may take him two. What may take another person one, he may be ready way quicker."

Jones was limited to just 15 snaps before exiting Sunday's contest. The 28-year-old Jones leads the Falcons with 19 receptions for 295 yards but doesn't have a touchdown, one season after reeling in 83 catches for 1,409 yards and six scores.

Sanu has 16 catches for 163 yards and a touchdown in four games this season. The 27-year-old has 227 receptions for 2,609 yards and 16 scores in 76 career contests with the Cincinnati Bengals and Falcons.
