ATLANTA -- Falcons linebacker Vic Beasley Jr. left Atlanta's game against the Green Bay Packers in the third quarter Sunday night due to a hamstring injury.

He wasn't expected to return.

Beasley, who led the NFL in sacks a year ago, immediately grabbed the back of his leg and had to be helped off the field before heading directly to the locker room.

Beasley had a sack early in the third quarter, forcing a fumble by Packers quarterback Aaron Rogers that was returned 15 yards for a touchdown by Atlanta's Desmond Trufant.
