April 26 (UPI) -- One NFL general manager will be very happy if Davis Webb can have the type of season Dak Prescott had in 2016. A national scout told the NFL Network that the Cal quarterback shares similarities to the Dallas Cowboys gunslinger.

"He has Dak-like intangibles," the scout told NFL Network.

Prescott, 23, was taken in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He rewarded the Cowboys by completing 67.8 percent of his passes for 3,667 yards, 23 touchdowns and four interceptions. He also had 282 rushing yards and six rushing scores. Prescott earned a Pro Bowl bid and was named Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Webb, 22, completed 61.6 percent of his passes for 4,295 yards, 37 scores and 12 interceptions last season at Cal. He is compared to Brock Osweiler on his draft profile on NFL.com.

A source told Draft Analyst Wednesday that if the Cleveland Browns miss out on North Carolina's Mitchell Trubisky in the first round, it will target Webb at No. 33 overall.

NFL.com draft analyst Mike Mayock ranks Webb as his No. 5 quarterback prospect in the draft, behind Deshaun Watson, Trubisky, Patrick Mahomes and DeShone Kizer.

Webb is widely regarded as a second-day draft choice.
