Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears defenders arrested in Iowa

March 27 (UPI) -- Two NFC North defensive backs were arrested Saturday night after an incident in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Chicago Bears cornerback Deiondre' Hall and Green Bay Packers cornerback Makinton Dorleant were involved in the altercation. Hall was cited for disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and interference. Dorleant was cited for interference.

Both players played college football at the University of Northern Iowa. According to KWWL, the arrests were made after a fight broke out at Sharky's in Cedar Falls. A bouncer at the bar told police he was assaulted. KWWL reported that police had to tase Hall for not being cooperative. Hall also reportedly spit on an officer's face while another police officer was hit in the back of the head with a beer bottle.

According to reports, Hall was in the middle of a fighting crowd yelling profanities at the bar's staff and patrons. Hall later refused to get into a squad car, before having his left leg tasered.

Hall, 22, was drafted in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He had nine tackles and one interception in eight games last season. He is playing on a four-year, $2.8 million contract. Dorleant, 24, is playing on a three-year, $1.6 million pact. The second-year defensive back had just one tackle in four games last season for the Packers. Dorleant went undrafted last year.
