March 23 (UPI) -- Run stuffer Ricky Jean-Francois is joining a team that allowed the fifth-fewest rushing yards in the NFC last season.

The 313-pound defensive lineman agreed to a one-year, $3 million pact with the Green Bay Packers Thursday, according to reports.

Jean-Francois, 30, had 32 tackles and 1.5 sacks in 16 games last season for the Washington Redskins. He played the first four seasons of his career for the San Francisco 49ers before a two-year stint with the Indianapolis Colts. He joined the Redskins in 2015.

The defensive lineman also visited the Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears before locking on with the Packers. The Redskins cut Jean-Francois on March 15, saving the team $3 million.
