March 22 (UPI) -- Despite having 150-1 odds to win Super Bowl 52, the New York Jets have a provision to give Josh McCown a big-game bonus.

McCown, 37, signed a one-year, $6 million pact with the Jets on March 20. His deal is fully guaranteed and includes an additional $7 million in incentives. The 14-year veteran gets $125,000 for each game when he plays 50 percent of the snaps. He gets $2 million to make the playoffs, $1.5 million to make Super Bowl 52, and $1.5 million to win the big game, according to reports.

McCown completed 90-of-165 passes for 1,100 yards, six touchdowns, and six interceptions last season for the Cleveland Browns. After being released by the Browns last month, the journeyman gunslinger had at least four other teams interested in his services.

According to MyTopSportsbooks.com, the Browns have 250-1 odds to win the Super Bowl. The San Francisco 49ers have 200-1 odds to hoist the Lombardi Trophy. The Jets are the third least-likely team to win it all.
