March 22 (UPI) -- The Green Bay Packers will need to bulk up its committee in an effort to replace Eddie Lacy.

Christine Michael reentered the fold Wednesday, when he agreed to re-sign with the franchise. The 26-year-old had 583 yards and seven touchdowns on 148 carries last season for the Seattle Seahawks and Packers. He also had a receiving score. He was let go by the Seahawks, before being claimed off of waivers in November.

ESPN's Field Yates was the first to report the signing. Michael also posted several pictures wearing a Packers jersey on Instagram Wednesday.
