The Carolina Panthers re-signed unrestricted free agent cornerback Teddy Williams to a one-year contract on Monday.

Williams, 28, played in three games in 2016 before finishing the season on injured reserve with a knee injury. He recorded seven tackles, one pass defense and one interception. Williams joined the Panthers in 2015 and contributed 10 special teams tackles that season.
