Hard-hitting linebacker Kevin Minter is joining the Cincinnati Bengals.
Multiple outlets reported Saturday that the 26-year-old is headed to the Bengals after spending the past four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals.
According to NFL.com, Minter is expected to sign a one-year contract.
Last season, Minter compiled 81 tackles and a career-high 3.5 sacks. A second-round draft pick by the Cardinals in 2013, Minter started every game the past two seasons.
Minter's career NFL totals include 175 tackles and four sacks. He collected a career-high 94 tackles in 2015.
With the Bengals, Minter likely will be slotted into the lineup along with linebackers Vontaze Burfict and Rey Maualuga. Minter is expected to replace Karlos Dansby, who left the Bengals as a free agent to return to Arizona.
