A Pittsburgh judge dropped all charges against former New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis stemming from an alleged aggravated assault incident last month.

Revis, 31, faced five criminal charges -- four of them felonies -- in relation to a street altercation in Pittsburgh on Feb. 12 that also left him injured.

At Wednesday's court hearing in Allegheny County, Rashawn Bolton, Revis' high school teammate, testified that he delivered the knockout punches to the two men, according to NFL Network's Aditi Kinkhabwala.

The two men, ages 21 and 22, told police that they were punched and knocked out amid a verbal altercation with Revis, but they did not know who hit them.

Bolton said in court Wednesday that he pulled the two men off Revis and then punched them. He said his voice is the one heard in a video showing the two men knocked out while someone takes credit for doing it on the audio.

"If you was my friend and you said you was getting jumped, I'd help you," Bolton told a prosecutor.

Revis is a free agent after the Jets opted not to re-sign him after the 2016 season. His $15.3 million salary-cap number already put him at risk of being released by the Jets prior to the alleged incident. The Jets still owe Revis $6 million.

Revis is a four-time All-Pro and a former Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots.

In 2015, Revis signed a five-year, $70 million deal with the Jets that came with $39 million in guaranteed money.

In 10 NFL seasons -- the first six with the Jets, one each with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Patriots, and the past two with the Jets -- Revis has 29 interceptions, six forced fumbles and two sacks in 140 games (all starts). He is credited with 137 passes defensed.

Revis played 15 games last season, finishing with five passes defensed and one interception.

Revis was the Jets' 2007 first-round pick (14th overall) out of the University of Pittsburgh. He was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area.
