The Arizona Cardinals signed linebacker Jarvis Jones to a one-year contract, the team announced Tuesday. Details of the contract were not disclosed.
Jones spent his first four years in the league with the Pittsburgh Steelers after being selected in the first round of the 2013 NFL draft out of Georgia.
He played in 50 games, including 35 starts, with the Steelers and totaled 125 tackles, six sacks, two interceptions, four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
Last season, Jones tied his career high with 42 tackles and had one sack and one interception in 14 games, including nine starts.
The Cardinals lost an outside linebacker on Tuesday when Alex Okafor signed with the Saints, but they got one back with the signing of Jones.
