March 10 The Green Bay Packers will re-sign pass rusher Nick Perry to a long-term deal, multiple outlets reported on Thursday.

Multiple reports said the deal is worth $60 million over five years.

Perry recorded career highs in sacks (11) and tackles (52) while playing in 14 games last season after signing a one-year, $5 million deal prior to the campaign.

The 26-year-old has been plagued by injury during his career in Green Bay. He missed 15 of 32 regular-season games in his first two years and played with a club on his hand for parts of 2016.

Perry has collected 152 tackles and 23.5 sacks in 60 games since being selected by the Packers with the 28th overall pick of the 2012 draft.
