Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay says head coach Chuck Pagano and new general manager Chris Ballard are "clicking on all cylinders."

Irsay took to Twitter on Sunday night and added that quarterback Andrew Luck "is healing" after his surgery and there are "great things to come" for the Colts.

"Colts Nation...I want you to know New GM Chris and HC Chuck are clicking on all cylinders...#12 is healing and great things to come!!" Irsay tweeted.

Former general manager Ryan Grigson was fired on Jan. 21 after five seasons with the Colts. A little over a week later, Irsay hired Ballard, who spent the past four seasons working as the Kansas City Chiefs' director of football operations.

At his introductory press conference on Jan. 30, Ballard came to the immediate support of Pagano, whose job security had been called into question following the Colts' second straight 8-8 season in 2016.

"There were no other options. It was Chuck Pagano," Ballard told reporters. "Chuck Pagano is a good football coach in the National Football League. Three 11-5 seasons, went to the AFC Championship Game, had two 8-8s (seasons) back-to-back, but he has won 49 games. We need to keep our eye on how hard it is to win in this league. It is hard to win and he has won 49 games in the National Football League. It was Chuck Pagano and his staff and we are rolling."

Irsay confirmed last month that Luck underwent outpatient surgery on his right shoulder injury that had lingered since 2015 but the quarterback will be ready for the start of the 2017 regular season.

Luck missed one game in 2016 with a concussion but was listed on the injury report every week. The shoulder injury originally occurred in Week 3 of the 2015 season.

The 27-year-old Luck completed a career-high 63.5 percent of his passes last season for 4,240 yards with 31 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He was sacked 41 times.
