Earl Mitchell visiting Seattle Seahawks, three other teams

Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Free agent defensive tackle Earl Mitchell is shopping around after being dropped last week by the Miami Dolphins.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported last weekend that Mitchell was set to visit the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons, and Denver Broncos.

His visit with the Seahawks is planned for Monday and Tuesday, while he will meet with the 49ers on Tuesday and Wednesday, and the Broncos on Wednesday and Thursday. He will meet with the Falcons on Thursday and Friday, according to 9News Denver's Mike Klis.

Mitchell had 5.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and 128 tackles in seven seasons for the Houston Texans and Dolphins. He was due $4 million in 2017 before being released.
