After beating the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday, the Atlanta Falcons didn't know who they would face in Super Bowl LI. Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones said it wouldn't matter.
Jones said that if the Falcons continue playing at a high level, they would defeat either the New England Patriots or Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl on Feb. 5. They will play the Patriots.
"Yeah, I would say so," Jones said. "Because at the end of the day it doesn't matter about who we are playing and what we are doing. It's all about us. If we go out there and don't have any mistakes or things setting us back, most definitely (we will win)."
The Packers can attest to just how difficult it is to stop the Falcons.
"We ran into a buzzsaw," Packers coach Mike McCarthy said. "Those guys performed great and we didn't have enough to keep up with them with where we are."
