Roger Goodell won't be walking through that door when the New England Patriots host the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday in Foxborough, Mass.

The NFL commissioner attended last Sunday's NFC divisional round game between the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks before traveling to the Steelers' AFC divisional game at the Kansas City Chiefs, but won't be heading to Gillette Stadium for the AFC title game.

Goodell will instead be present for Sunday's NFC title game between the host Falcons and Green Bay Packers, ESPN reports.

The 57-year-old has become a top antagonist for New England fans ever since he suspended Patriots quarterback Tom Brady four games for his role in the Deflategate scandal.

Brady was asked about the possibility of Goodell showing up during his weekly radio interview with WEEI in Boston on Monday.

"He's the commissioner, so obviously whatever he wants to do, he can do," Brady said.

Goodell hasn't attended a Patriots game in Foxborough since the 2015 playoffs, a divisional round contest against the Baltimore Ravens on Jan. 10. New England escaped with a 35-31 win but lost to the Denver Broncos in the AFC title game.
