The San Francisco 49ers will interview a pair of Green Bay Packers executives for their general manager vacancy.

One day after firing longtime general manager Trent Baalke, who had been with the team for 12 years, the 49ers are set to meet with Brian Gutekunst and Eliot Wolf, according to multiple reports.

Gutekunst is the Packers' director of player personnel. He spent the last 18 years in Green Bay's personnel branch and was promoted to director status last year after spending the previous four as the team's college scouting director.

Wolf is the son of Hall of Fame executive Ron Wolf and was promoted to director of football operations last year. He spent the previous 13 years with the Green Bay organization.

In addition to Baalke, the 49ers also fired first-year coach Chip Kelly after the former Philadelphia Eagles and Oregon coach guided San Francisco to a disappointing 2-14 campaign this season.
