PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Running back Darren Sproles will be active Thursday night when the Philadelphia Eagles battle the New York Giants.

The Eagles veteran can be employed as a flex in PPR leagues in this matchup. Sproles sat out of the Eagles Week 15 loss to the Baltimore Ravens due to a concussion. He suffered the injury in Week 14 from getting blown up by the Washington Redskins' Deshazor Everett during a punt return, after he had called a fair catch.

Sproles, 33, has 766 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns on 125 touches this season.
