Miami Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his triumphant return to the starting lineup after five years, the NFL announced Wednesday.

Moore, making his first start since the 2011 season finale, completed 12 of 18 passes for 236 yards with four touchdowns and one interception for a passer rating of 126.2 to lead the Dolphins to a 34-13 victory against the New York Jets last Saturday night.

Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman earned the NFC offensive award for his performance against the San Francisco 49ers.

Freeman posted his third career three-touchdown game in the Falcons' 41-13 Week 15 win on Sunday, finishing with 155 yards from scrimmage, including 139 yards rushing.

Oakland Raiders linebacker Bruce Irvin was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week after his six-tackle, two-sack performance in the 19-16 win over the San Diego Chargers.

Green Bay Packers safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix took the NFC defensive honor after two interceptions in the 30-27 win over the Chicago Bears.

Tennessee Titans kicker Ryan Succop was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after his 53-yard winning field goal as time expired in below-freezing temperatures beat the Kansas City Chiefs 19-17.

New York Giants punter Brad Wing won NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for the second straight week after averaging 42.6 yards and dropping two inside the 20 as the Giants beat the Detroit Lions 17-6.
