ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills left tackle Cordy Glenn left Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers because of a back injury, but he returned to start the second half.

Glenn has been limited in practice the past three weeks due to the back ailment. An ankle injury forced him to miss two games earlier in the season.

Cyrus Kouandijo replaced Glenn on the Bills' line.

Meanwhile, Pittsburgh Steelers safety Mike Mitchell injured his left knee in the first quarter of Sunday's game but was later cleared to return.

Mitchell has started every game for Pittsburgh this season. Rookie Sean Davis replaced him in the lineup. The Steelers were already without reserve safety Shamarko Thomas (concussion).
