NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Rookie wide receiver Michael Thomas has given a jolt to fantasy football teams that were weak at the position to start the year.

But if those owners made the playoffs, they are likely worried about being without the New Orleans Saints speedster in the first round.

Thomas missed practice all week until taking part in a limited capacity at Friday's session. He leads the Saints with 69 receptions, 831 yards, and seven scores. I'll have Thomas as a low-end WR1 this week against a respectable Tampa Bay Buccaneers secondary. He had four receptions for 42 yards in Week 13, but exploded for 108 yards and two scores in Week 12 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Thomas is currently listed as questionable with the foot injury.
