Jets coach Todd Bowles said Thursday that Mangold's injury could require surgery. The seven-time Pro Bowl selection has played in just eight games this season for the grounded Jets. Mangold has one year remaining on his eight-year, $57.4 million contract. He is due $6.075 million next season with a $2.4 million roster bonus.
