NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Keep an eye out for the latest New Orleans Saints' injury reports this week before starting Michael Thomas in your fantasy football lineup.

The rookie wide receiver sat out Wednesday's practice due to a foot injury. Don't worry too much about Thomas' status, as Wednesday is typically a day of rest for some NFL players.

Thomas has been able to produce WR1 numbers some weeks and should be in for another big performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14. The Buccaneers have allowed the fourth-most touchdowns to opposing wide receivers this season. I have Thomas, 22, as a must-start WR2 in this matchup. He has 831 yards and seven touchdowns on 69 receptions for the Saints.

It is currently unknown when Thomas suffered the foot injury.

The Saints face the Buccaneers at 4:25 p.m. Sunday at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
