Percy Harvin's return to football lasted all of two games.

Harvin, who came out of retirement and signed a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills on Nov. 1, was placed on the reserve/non-football illness list Monday, ending his season.

The former Rookie of the Year and Pro Bowl wide receiver returned against his former team, the Seattle Seahawks, in the Bills' Monday night game on Nov. 7 but didn't make any catches.

On Nov. 20 against the Cincinnati Bengals, Harvin was targeted four times with two catches for six yards. He also rushed once for 11 yards.

Harvin last practiced with the Bills on Nov. 23 and was sidelined due to migraines. He was inactive for the team's previous two games because of conditioning.

The 28-year-old announced his retirement last April after missing the final 11 games of the 2015 season with hip and knee injuries.

Harvin totaled 353 catches for 4,026 yards and 22 touchdowns over parts of eight seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, Seahawks, New York Jets and Bills. He was on the Super Bowl XLVIII-winning Seattle team in 2014.
