DENVER, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Justin Forsett keeps following Gary Kubiak.

For the third time in his career, the veteran running back will play in Kubaik's system. Forsett joined the Denver Broncos Monday, after the Broncos put Kapri Bibbs on injured reserve. Forsett played for Kubiak in 2012 in Houston and in 2014 in Baltimore.

The Broncos desperately need help for its running game. Star running back C.J. Anderson was put on I.R. after Week 8, since then the Broncos have sputtered while carrying the football. The Broncos have averaged just 3.6 yards per carry this season, the worst mark in the AFC.

The Baltimore Ravens cut Forsett, 31, in October. He signed with the Detroit Lions a week later. The Lions placed him on waivers Saturday. Forsett is not a trustworthy fantasy football option, even with starter Devontae Booker struggling. He has 187 yards on 57 touches this season. Forsett had a breakout season in 2014 with the Ravens, when he ran for 1,266 yards and eight touchdowns on 235 carries.
