Von Miller gifts wine to every player in AFC West

By Alex Butler

DENVER, Dec. 2 (UPI) -- AFC West quarterbacks are doing a different kind of 'wining' lately after getting sacked by Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller.

The Super Bowl MVP sent more than 200 bottles of wine to every player in his division this week. Recipients of 'The Setting' included players on the practice squad and injured reserve. The custom wine is a 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, according to the Denver Post.

Each bottle featured a label with an orange logo of Miller's signature eye-glasses. The bottles also prominently featured his autograph.

"It is an honor and a privilege to take the field and compete with you twice a year. We are so fortunate to have this opportunity to fulfill our childhood dreams of playing in the NFL. The blood, sweat, aches and pains, and endless hours spent watching film are a testament to the love and dedication we have for this game. So take a moment, reflect on all your successes, and enjoy your accomplishment. Appreciate those who have helped you get this far, and start working towards your next childhood dream. Thank you for helping to make our game great," Miller wrote in a note with each bottle.

100 more bottles of 'The Setting' are available to buy at VonMiller.org. 'The Setting' was created by Jesse Katz.

Miller has six or his 12.5 sacks against AFC West quarterbacks this season.

"The AFC West has been good to all of us,'' Miller told 9 News Denver. "It's been a great division in football for the last four years. I was just thinking of things that I can do for those guys on other teams. I have guys on every team. I just organized it and boom, sent everybody on the teams a bottle of wine. It was always something that I wanted to do and now I'm just in a situation to do it."

"Whether it be financially or where I am with my teammates, my team and my organization. It just took a little bit of time to be able to develop this. It's something that I've been wanting to do. I finally got it done."

Miller signed a six-year, $114.5 million contract in July. The blockbuster deal includes $70 million guaranteed.
