DENVER, Dec. 2 (UPI) -- You might want to think twice about playing the likes of Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders this weekend on your fantasy football team.

The Denver Broncos ruled out quarterback Trevor Siemian Friday for its matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. That means first-round rookie gunslinger Paxton Lynch will be under center.

If you have better options at wide receiver, look to replace the Broncos duo. It is a complete unknown how often Lynch will throw with Sanders and Thomas. I expect the Broncos to lean heavily on the run.

Siemian, 24, is dealing with a sprained left foot. He is considered day-to-day and wore a boot all week leading up to the call.

"Siemian did not practice all week because of the injury, suffered on the Broncos' first series of overtime in their loss to Kansas City last Sunday, the Broncos said in a release. "He was in a walking boot throughout the week and on a regimen of rest and rehabilitation."

Siemian has completed 195-of-325 passes for 2,396 yards, 15 touchdowns, and seven interceptions this season. He is coming off of his best game, after completing 20-of-34 passes for 325 yards and three scores against the Chiefs.
