BUFFALO, N.Y., Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Electric wide receiver Percy Harvin retired in April but he just couldn't stay away from the Buffalo Bills.

Harvin un-retired Tuesday and re-signed with the team, according to his agent Greg Barnett. He finished last season on injured reserve. Harvin has not put up solid wide receiver stats since 2012 and should not be considered an option in fantasy football.

The 28-year-old had 19 receptions for 218 yards and one touchdown in five games last season.

There were mixed reports in late March and early April about if Harvin would play again.

"[I] would love to have Percy back," Bills coach Rex Ryan said at the NFL Coaches Breakfast in March, according to Vic Carucci. "This kid is one of the toughest guys you'll see. Would welcome him with open arms."

Harvin has 4,020 yards and 22 touchdowns on 351 career receptions. He also has 916 yards and five touchdowns on 145 career carries. He has scored five times while returning kickoffs.
