EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Broadway Joe Namath knows a few things about knee injuries. So when he watched New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith suffer one on Sunday, he had some knowledge to spew.
That knowledge came in the form of a slant pointed at the young gunslinger.
Smith suffered an injury to his right knee in the 24-16 win against the Baltimore Ravens. He was forced from the game following a second-quarter sack by Matt Judon.
After emerging from the locker room, Smith stood on the sideline dressed in street clothes for the remainder of the contest.
If you've got a right knee injury keeping you out of the game why are you standing on the sideline the entire 2nd half? How bad can it be?

"If you've got a right knee injury keeping you out of the game why are you standing on the sideline the entire 2nd half? How bad can it be," Namath tweeted Sunday.
Smith told reporters that he was "begging to go back out there.."
Somebody tell Joe that the doctors have the final say on whether you can or cannot get back into the game...... and also that I love him!
