Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant remains on track to make his return to the lineup this week after missing the last three games with a hairline fracture in his right knee.

Bryant, who has not played since injuring his knee against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 25, is expected to return to action Sunday night when the Cowboys (5-1) face the Philadelphia Eagles (4-2).

The Cowboys returned to the practice field Monday after their bye week, and Bryant was catching passes and running routes while the practice was open to the media.

Bryant did not catch passes during the Cowboys' one practice last week after injuring his right ring and middle fingers while cutting carrots to make soup. He told reporters Monday his fingers and knee are fine.

Quarterback Tony Romo still has not been cleared and was absent for Monday's practice, which likely means rookie quarterback Dak Prescott will make his seventh consecutive start Sunday night. Romo has not practiced since suffering a compression fracture in his back on Aug. 25.

Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick said he is ready to return after missing a month with hamstring strains to both legs. Cornerback Morris Claiborne was on the practice field Monday as he works back from a concussion suffered against the Packers.

Left tackle Tyron Smith was missing from Monday's practice as he continues to deal with the back injury that kept him out of two games.
