MIAMI, Oct. 12 (UPI) -- Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed was not at the team's practice Wednesday because he was being evaluated for a concussion.

Reed, 26, has 316 yards and two touchdowns on 33 receptions this season. He followed up his two-touchdown performance against the Cleveland Browns with eight catches for 54 yards last weekend against the Baltimore Ravens.

Reed is typically a top-5 option in fantasy football, but his owners need to lock up depth at the position this week as it is possible Reed could miss the Redskins' game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles are allowing the fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. Reed had five concussions from 2011 to 2015.

Reed signed a six-year, $48 million contract in June with the Redskins. The deal includes $22 million guaranteed. Reed is due $1.25 million this season.
