KANSAS CITY, Mo., Sept. 30 (UPI) -- All-Pro running back Jamaal Charles will make his 2016 debut for the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Charles underwent offseason knee surgery and has been inactive for the Chiefs' first three games. In his absence, Spencer Ware has 387 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown.

Charles is listed as questionable for Sunday Night Football. ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported that Charles is expected to play. He was upgraded to a questionable status Friday.

I would expect Charles to be on a snap count this weekend. He can't be trusted yet as an RB2, with Ware still in the picture. I rank Ware as a low-end RB2 or flex play against the Steelers, a unit allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to running backs this season. Ware had 20 carries for 75 yards in the Chiefs' Week 3 win against the New York Jets. He played 71 percent of the Chiefs' snaps in the victory and is still expected to be the Chiefs' goal-line back.

Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell will also make his season debut against the Chiefs.
