DALLAS, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- A hairline fracture in his knee will likely keep Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant from facing the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4.

Bryant injured the knee in a Week 3 win against the Chicago Bears.

"No great surprise, but Cowboys WR Dez Bryant is not expected to play Sunday vs 49ers, per source," ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported Thursday.

Bryant, 27, has 11 receptions for 150 yards and a touchdown through three weeks. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport said the injury could keep Bryant out for up to three weeks. Rapoport also called Bryant a "long-shot" to play in Week 4.

The Cowboys recently fined Bryant for missing meetings and a scheduled MRI.

Although it is hard to replace a WR1, the Cowboys' Cole Beasley is worth a pick up in Bryant's absence. Beasley is a WR3 this week against the 49ers. For more information on available wide receivers, check out my Week 4 add/drops.
