NEW ORLEANS, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- Hopefully you had a back up plan ready if you are a Willie Snead owner in fantasy football.

The New Orleans Saints wide receiver is inactive for Monday Night Football against the Atlanta Falcons. Snead, 23, is dealing with a toe injury. Michael Thomas is expected to assume a bigger role in his absence.

Snead has 14 receptions for 226 yards and two touchdowns through two games. Expect a big bump in targets for Brees' favorite option Brandin Cooks. If you own Snead and didn't start another option Sunday, you are in a bind. You now have to drop a Saints or Flacons player and add another option from one of those teams or get a zero from that slot in your lineup.

When Snead is healthy, he is capable of WR1 numbers. I rank him as a WR2 for the rest of the season in all formats.
