SEATTLE, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- When your coach likens your running style to that of a speeding cannonball, you are doing something right.

That's what Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll thinks about Christine Michael, who ran for 106 yards and two touchdowns Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

Now the news coming out of Seattle is that starter Thomas Rawls is expected to be sidelined for multiple weeks.

"Thomas Rawls has a fibula injury that is more serious than originally thought, Pete Carroll said on @710ESPNSeattle. Out a few weeks," Seattle Seahawks reporter John Boyle tweeted Monday.

Rawls spent this offseason recovering from an ankle injury and has not looked good this season, rushing for 25 yards on 19 carries.

Rawls and C.J. Prosise were both inactive in Sunday's win.

I think Michael could continue to put up RB1 numbers in Seattle's run-friendly offense. He should continue to see solid work, as Carroll mentioned he will see 20 or more carries per game.

If you are a Thomas Rawls owner, look for some running backs with upside to add to your bench, or make a trade. He doesn't look like the same player who scored four touchdowns and rushed for more than 400 yards in the final four games of 2015. The Seahawks face the New York Jets in Week 4 before a Week 5 bye.
