DENVER, Sept. 2 (UPI) -- A big contributor to the Denver Broncos' 2015 Super Bow run is on the block.

The "Broncos are shopping Ronnie Hillman," according to Altitude TV's Vic Lombardi.

Hillman, 24, was competing for the Broncos' No. 2 running back spot with rookie Devontae Booker, but he looks to have dropped down the depth chart. He led the Broncos with 863 rushing yards last season. Hillman scored four touchdowns on 231 touches in 2015.

Kapri Bibbs and Juwan Thompson also crowd the Broncos' stable of backs this season. Hillman was having a less-than-impressive camp before breaking out for 45 yards and a touchdown last week against the Los Angeles Rams.

"That's going to be really tough," Broncos coach Gary Kubiak told the Denver Post. "We have four. Obviously, we could be a four-running back team. We could be three."

"I think the thing that's happened to me, Ronnie really responded the last two weeks. He played very well. I think Kapri has had a good preseason, and he's a special-teams player. That's a tough decision for us. That makes us better."

Last month, 9 News Denver's Mike Klis said it would be a "surprise" if the Broncos included Hillman on its 53-man roster.
