Stephen Tulloch signs with Philadelphia Eagles

PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 22 (UPI) -- Veteran middle linebacker Stephen Tulloch has signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, according to multiple sources.

Tulloch's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, was one of many outlets to declare his clients new destination. Tulloch's deal is worth up to $3 million, with $1.75 million guaranteed.

Tulloch, 31, had 74 tackles, one sack, and two fumble recoveries last season in 16 games. He has 14.5 sacks, 670 tackles, and 12 fumble recoveries in 10 NFL seasons for the Detroit Lions and Tennessee Titans.

The Eagles allowed the third most yards per game in the NFL last season.
