The veteran wide receiver signed with the New Orleans Saints Wednesday, according to multiple sources.

Nicks, 28, had seven receptions for 54 yards in six games last season with the New York Giants. After playing his first five seasons with the Giants, Nicks had 38 catches for 405 yards and four scores in 2014 for the Indianapolis Colts.

Nicks posted a photo of the Saints logo on Twitter before his agent confirmed the move to NFL.com.

The Saints and Nicks agreed to a one-year deal. The Saints had an open slot on its roster after losing Vincent Brown to a calf injury. Nicks worked out for the Saints in May and the Cincinnati Bengals in April. Before signing back with the Giants last season, he worked out for the Saints, Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots, and Cowboys. Nicks also failed to make the Tennessee Titans' opening game roster last season.
