BOSTON, July 21 (UPI) -- One New England Patriots wide receiver could be taking out his frustration, regarding Tom Brady's DeflateGate suspension, on baseballs.
Julian Edelman stepped into the batters box Wednesday at Fenway Park. Edelman, who had foot surgery in May, looked spry enough to smash several home runs, including some over the famed Green Monster.
During Red Sox batting practice, Edelman took several mammoth swats and fielded ground balls. The righty recently told the Boston Herald that he is feeling better everyday.
Edelman had 61 receptions for 692 yards and seven touchdowns in nine games last season. He broke his foot in November.
Asked for a scouting report on Julian Edelman's BP, John Farrell said: "Good football player."

"I'm feeling a day better than yesterday, and I'm feeling a second better than the last second," Edelman told the Herald. "Hopefully when that time's up, that time's up."
